Corona, CA – “I am super stoked to have an opportunity to go race with one of motorsports’ most bad ass chicks on the planet in my co-pilot seat”, stated Nicole Pitell-Vaughan during an interview about racing with female driver Jessi Combs as her navigator.  The duo has teamed up to compete against over 50 racers in the 1450 truck class in one of the SNORE series’ most popular events, the Battle at Primm being held Feb 22^nd and 23^rd at State Line, Nevada. “This race is somewhat new for us. We have a solid team, TOTAL CHAOS’s support is top notch, and Nicole is a great driver. I have complete faith we can keep it together and its a chance to see if we can hang with the big kids,” added Jessi. The ladies drew the 11th starting position for the start of Saturday’s race.

TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication Inc. owner Nicole Pitell-Vaughan & recent King Of The Hammers Ultra4 Spec 4700 Class winner Jessi Combs are a tenacious duo of female competitors. The two have thousands of off road miles in racing experience and will be competing in a custom Toyota Tacoma built by TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication. Nicole added, “I have a lot of trust in her navigational skills and race experience. Neither of us has ever competed in this format of desert/short course racing where it’s a 13 mile loop for 4 laps and more like a desert sprint race combined with short course jumps and door to door racing action. The course is going to be brutal. We are the last class each day racing the 2 day event and attrition normally gobbles up over ½ the field.” The girls have strapped in and logged a few hundred miles of seat time in the Tacoma preparing for the race and getting comfortable jumping the truck.

The two will be competing in a TOTAL CHAOS custom built 2005 Toyota Tacoma sponsored by Toyota T-Ten, FOX Shox, MasterCraft, K&N Filters, SPY, Off Road Warehouse & Baja Designs. TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication is recognized globally as a leading manufacturer of Toyota bolt on IFS performance suspension systems and accessories, and is trusted by rally racers across the globe.  Team TC and has had great success in the last 4 years with international racers competing and finishing the DAKAR Rally & China Gobi Rally and SCORE-International Baja 1000 using their equipment.

Nicole and her husband Matt Vaughan own TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication Inc. She has logged thousands of off road miles over the last 20 years being involved in off road industry and has competed in the Best In The Desert  – Vegas to Reno event twice sharing the driving duties in the 586 mile race . Known as the longest race in the United States, the husband and wife team finished the event both times they competed in the companies Toyota Tacoma. Nicole has also finished 1^st  in 3 straight MORE Class 1400 Ladies Race for the Cure events in the TC Tacoma in 2010, 2011, & 2012. When not behind the wheel of a truck she spends most her free time on 2 wheels riding dirt bikes or mountain bikes.

Jessi Combs has amassed a list of personal and professional accomplishments that sets her apart from most females in the off road industry. On October 9^th, 2013, she became known as the “fastest woman on four wheels” logging a land speed record of 392.954 MPH in the North American Eagle (NAE) Supersonic Speed Challenger. Combs hit a top speed of 440.7 mph (709.25 km/h). Jessi started her career hands on as a metal fabricator, and earned a degree in Custom Automotive Fabrication from WyoTech. She then became a familiar face in popular television shows such as Mythbusters, Overhaulin’ , Xtreme 4×4, 2 Guys Garage and most recently All Girls Garage on Velocity & The List 1001 Car things to Do Before You Die. She is endorsed by companies such as Falken Tires, WARN, Lincoln Electric & WyoTech and is actively pushes to grow a male dominated industry of motor sports to the female community.
