Vance leaves Vegas with $500 in CASH and sweeps the Lucas Oil Off Road Regional 1450 Bee Hive Classic Series!

Team Total Chaos pilot Dan “WFO” Vance clinches the 1450 Bee Hive Classic Championship at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway, host of the final round of the Lucas Off Road Oil regional racing series. 10 racers made the trek to sin city to battle it out door to door on the race track. Vance posted the fastest 1450 lap time in qualifying setting the stage for the main event.

Lucas racing officials tossed in a “JOKER” to the deck and invited an old Scott Douglas Pro 2 driven by Tommy Bradley to join the field for the event. It added some entertainment as Vance’s purpose build desert truck went door to door with the short course truck for most of the main event trading the lead back and forth and pushing both drivers to try new lines and get creative. “I protected my inside lines where I knew he was faster than I was. I drove that truck as hard as I could out there, it was a lot of work to keep this desert built truck hugging the inside lines. We were pretty close on the power side, his truck is built for these tight 180 degree corners and I left a spot open and Tommy took advantage of it”, stated Vance after the race.

Despite the joker card being added to the class , “WFO” Vance walked away $500 in cash richer after winning the TOTAL CHAOS 1^st place event purse!
