Dan Vance wins Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Series 1450 Bee Hive Classic

With only 30 miles of testing on the truck, Dan Vance took a shake down run in his new LS 3 conversion at the Lucas Oil 1450 Bee Hive Classic at Lake Elsinore and walked away $500 in cash richer and standing on top of the podium. Nick Tonelli Motorsports and the Lucas Oil Regional Off Road Racing Series are hosting a 3 race series for the 1450 truck class drivers. The first race of the series posted $500 in cash by TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication and lots of product and other prizes for the competitors.

Over 20 racers signed up to battle door to door on the fast track with lots of passing lanes. When the dust settled, Vance walked away with the cash and a busted tranny.”Timed practice was really the first time we shook down the new set up and we ran second behind Steve Herrera despite loosing 3rd gear in the tranny. Qualifying was really muddy. They soaked the track, but my General Tires were hooking up and we qualified first,” Vance commented. Vance started in the front row in the main event. The new Turn Key LS3 along with a suspension package from TOTAL CHAOS and Fox shocks was a great set up to maintain the lead over a hard charging Steve Herrera and Vince Munoz.
