What advantages do TOTAL CHAOS lower control arms provide?
Rubber bushings are replaced with urethane bushings to provide better off road trail handling and steering response. TOTAL CHAOS lower control arms are fully serviceable and far more durable upgrading lower ball joints to 1-inch stainless steel uniball’s. Less bushing deflection allows the vehicle steering to be more responsive at higher speed on and off road. The uniballs are not the only strength improvement, depending on the what version of LCA you order each is 100% hand crafted from boxed chromoly or steel and internally gusseted to withstand even the hardest of hits.
Why install a TOTAL CHAOS upper control arm on my Gen 4 Tacoma or Gen 3 Tundra?
TOTAL CHAOS UCA’s are designed to function best in the 2″-3″ of lift zone and were designed make your vehicle easier to align. These hand-crafted arms are fully rebuildable and replacement parts are always in stock.
Do I want a uniball or do I want a ball joint?
Uniballs allow for maximum droop wheel travel and do not bind like factory ball joints. TC includes 1″ I.D. uniballs that feature a heat treated stainless steel ball & heat treated stainless steel race for maximum corrosion resistance and component longevity. These uniballs also features a military grade PTFE woven fabric liner that helps prevent noise.
Why install a TOTAL CHAOS rear link kit on my Gen 3 Tundra or Gen 4 Tacoma?
TOTAL CHAOS is regarded as the industry leader in aftermarket performance Upper Control Arms and Toyota long travel independent front suspension systems. When you upgrade your front suspension, it is necessary to upgrade the rear suspension to balance the vehicle. TOTAL CHAOS upper and lower links are constructed from chromoly tubing that is twice as thick and more than twice as strong as stock. They are fitted with PTFE-lined chromoly adjustable rod ends and high misalignment spacers that bolt-on and pivot at the frame. We use greasable urethane bushings at the rear axle end to help absorb road vibration since most vehicles are driven 80% on-road. Factory hardware is reused on all TC kits for a true bolt-on installation.
