TOTAL CHAOS is excited to announce the release of their ball joint to lower uniball conversion for the 1996-2004 Toyota Tacoma, 1996-2002 4Runner, and 2000-2003 Tundra. The Toyota lower ball joint design on the 1st Gen Tacoma, 3rd Gen 4Runner, and 1st Gen Tundra is known to be a weak link. When ball joint failure occurs, the lower control arm will separate from the spindle and fall to the ground causing serious damage. To fix this problem we designed the first bolt-on billet machined 1″ lower uniball conversion.
Two kits are available to work with either OEM Toyota tie-rods or the TOTAL CHAOS heim steering upgrade. Built-in locating pins and a registering center ring lock into the spindle and lessen the shear load on the mounting hardware. With a durable Cerakote™ finish and all hardware included this is a perfect upgrade to your stock lower control arms or your TC long travel kit.
