TOTAL CHAOS is stoked to return as the official suspension sponsor of the 2022 Rebelle Rally for the 5th<\/sup> consecutive year. Let’s talk a little bit about what goes into plotting the course and the vehicle they choose for the job. \u00a0Every year Nicole Pitell, co-owner of TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication, and Emily Miller, founder of the Rebelle Rally<\/strong><\/a> embark on a solo journey logging 6,000+ miles as they plot \u201cthe game\u201d. Their schedule is confidential but their whereabouts are tracked by key staff and mechanics via a Garmin InReach+<\/strong><\/a> powered by Iridium<\/strong><\/a>. They have some of the best equipment on the market including a freshly built TC custom fabricated 2021 Lexus GX 460 dubbed ‘Seabiscuit’<\/a><\/strong>.<\/p>\n

Their GX460<\/strong><\/a> is outfitted with KING<\/strong><\/a> 3.0″ shocks on all 4 corners and it performs like a well tuned race car with no roll cage. They have a YETI<\/strong><\/a> cooler to manage meals and they trust Pirelli Scorpion tires to get the job done. Their Baja Designs<\/strong><\/a> lights power them into the wee hours and the playlist keeps spirits high with a great rotation of tunes! It takes over a month of pre-running the combined sections of the course to lay out the check points and base camps. We dedicate hundreds of hours every year to supporting this all-women\u2019s navigation rally which is also the longest competition rally in the United States!<\/p>\n

A year of planning, exploring, and lots of research culminates as the 2022 Rebelle Rally kicks off. This year’s rally marks the largest field of competitors with 108 women hailing from 94 cities, 24 states + provinces, and four countries. Teams will travel 2,580 km navigating solely by map & compass – no cell phones or GPS are allowed in competition.<\/p>\n

This year 11 Toyotas will participate in the rally including three teams of factory Toyota engineers. Five of the Toyotas are running TOTAL CHAOS components to help conquer ultimate proving ground for vehicle and parts manufacturers.<\/p>\n
