For those who want to build themselves the ultimate multi-purpose 4x4 Toy!!. TOTAL CHAOS Fabrication manufactures the "Caddy" kit. This kit remains the pioneer in bolt-on performance 4x4 IFS suspension systems available. The kit was designed to increase lift, wheel travel, handling and overall ride quality for any weekend trail warrior, desert racer, rock crawler, brutal pre-runner machine, or daily driver. 4130 chromoly upper and lower a-arms are extended 3.25" and allow up to 12+" of wheel travel when the front differential is removed. The vehicles track width will increase 6.5" overall, fiberglass fenders are required. Laser cut torsion socket tabs are added to strengthen the upper a-arm pivot and torsion socket mounting locations. For those that want to retain 4wd, this suspension system is designed to use T100 axle shafts that bolt-on. Travel is limited to 12". The lower control arms are plated top and bottom providing additional strength and a skid plate surface area to aid in navigating obstacles on any trail. These a-arms are 100% bolt on, welding is required to mount the upper a-arm urethane droop stops (supplied). The lower arms come pre-tabbed and ready to install single 2.5 or dual 2.0 shocks. The kit is powder coated with an additional clear coat, includes D.O.T. approved brake lines and comes complete with all mounting hardware. An optional heim-joint tie rod steering system is available to maximize performance and upgrade the factory components. 4wd trucks require the installation of a single 8" or 10" travel 2.5 shock. A coil over conversion is optional, but the front diff must be removed because of axle clearance. See the accessories section for more info to upgrade the factory weak link steering component by installing the "Caddy" idler arm. A weld on frame truss or weld on shock hoop can also be added to your package. This kit will also fit T100 4wd trucks. Custom 300M extended axles that are inserted into the factory inner and outer CV’s are necessary to retain the 4wd on this model.
